Guess wat.. on the very night before my poster presentation.. i discovered mistakes in my poster.. aiyoyo..
1st.. i remember i use a lot of THF as solvent.. but when i look at my poster.. there is only 1 THF.. which is impossible.. den i look through and found tt i missed out writing my solvent..shit!
2nd.. sridhar had been telling me to add a "dot" after the abbrevation cat for catalyst.. ie cat. .. den i did add it in .. den after tt i keep editing my chem draw structures.. until my finally copy dun have the "dot" .. shit! ..
but all done is done..

Yesterday poster presentation was an experience man.. it wasnt as nerve-wrecking as i thought it will be.. it was actually quite fun! .. stood there for 3 hours.. and talk all the way.. tiring! it was like a professor after another one.. den i repeated saying wats my project is abt for 7 times? oh gosh.. repeat until i tired man.. haha.. didnt ask me a lot on mechanism though.. and i spent a lot of time memorising all the mechanism .. i had like 20 mechanism to memorise!!
i had abt 5 professors asking me question.. zhong, kim, sumod, chiba, philip.. i think i died at philip chan question.. argh!! he ask so many question on my future work.. duh!! " why u use this? do u know its explosive?" "why u use this? u know its expensive?" den after tt i ask my lab phd students.. and they say the chemical is not explosive.. and the chemical is not expensive.. ya!! but i was expecting prof loh and narasaka.. coz they do a lot on diels-alder and i was so prepare to see them and to present to them.. but they didnt come and ask me questions.. hmmph..
and some prof ask me a simple question whether diels alder is symmetry allowed or forbidden..in front of siva.. i know its allowed.. coz its the common thing.. but i didnt check why..but i know it something to do with the lobes thing.. den i juz say i not sure.. den the prof ask siva.. den siva said coz its in and out phase for the lobes so its allowed.. den the prof was like "ya.. but she dunno" .. die.. so malu also .. tt i need siva to explain it..argh!!
and guess wat.. it took a junior undergraduate to tell me.."hey senior.. i think ur arrow pushing is wrong for this structure".. oh my god.. so embarrassing!! wanna dig a hole and hide myself man.. but i thank him anyway..
But overall.. it was alright i think.. oh ya.. did i mention wanchi gave us a surprise but coming to support us? so sweet of her.. Thanks gal!!

So i had officially finish everything of the uni requirements! end of the 4 yrs ! Cool! and now i am officially unemployed.. haha!!
